Eighteen U. S. schools—elementary, middle, and high school—will be honored for their outstanding work in mathematics and science studies and will receive grants of $5000. From this group winners will be selected for $10,000 and $25,000 awards. Intel is looking for schools to serve as role models for other schools across the nation. If your school has an outstanding record in mathematics and science and is doing innovative projects/teaching in these areas, you should look into applying for this award. Applications for 2011 are open through 02/17/11.
