Dollar General Literacy Grants

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation offers grants of up to $5000 for implementing new or expanding literacy programs, purchasing new technology or equipment to support literacy initiatives, and purchasing books, materials or software for literacy programs.  Applications are due by 05/21/10; grant announcements will be made 08/20/10. To apply, schools have to be in one of the 35 states where Dollar General is located and be within 20 miles of a Dollar General Store. Applications are available online.
