For those making digital movies on Mac OSX computers, there's an abundance of help online both on the Apple site and elsewhere on the Internet. But let's say your students captured some terrific film clips but held the camera sideways during the filming. So what do you do? Zip off to the site Utility Apps and download a program called TransformMovie. It has the ability to rotate the clips as you want, so your students won't have to lie on the floor to watch the movie they create. At this same site, you'll find the software AddMovie, which will help you combine clips into a single QuickTime movie file. The software offered at Utility Apps is free, but if you like it, the authors ask that you consider a donation video PayPal.
