Students from four local high schools were invited to hear Scott O’Neil, President of MSG Sports speak on December 2, 2008 about breaking into and being successful in the sports industry. In addition, the students also received free tickets to attend the Knicks vs. Portland Trailblazers game that night.
In his role as President, MSG Sports, Mr. O’Neil oversees all aspects of business operations for the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Liberty, as well as college and high school basketball, boxing, track and field and all other sports events.
The students attending this event are from the Yonkers Public Schools, The High School of Sports Management in Brooklyn, The Jonathan Levin School for Media and Communications in the Bronx, and Massapequa High School in Long Island.
