On June 17, 2008, students and teachers from schools in New Jersey, Long Island, Westchester and New York City had the unique opportunity to hear former President Bill Clinton speak in the last of a series entitled, "Minds that Move the World".
President Clinton spoke about many of the current world issues, including: the inter-dependency of all of the countries, the energy situation, health care, aids, and poverty at home and around the world. He was a most articulate and engaging speaker. When asked who the most interesting person that he's met over the years was, his response was "Nelson Mandela".
Many thanks to the teachers and students from Horace Greeley High School, Plainview Old Bethpage JFK High School, Bethpage High School, Lehman High School, Bayonne High School, Hoboken High School and White Plains High School.
Please share your thoughts and comments with us. We'd love to hear from you..
