An article on a new happiness survey showed up in the New York Times back in November that basically said that a wandering mind can lead to unhappiness. A blogger on the American Express site “Open Forum” took that “wandering” to mean digital wandering and generated a list of ways to control compulsion towards digital diversions – worth reading if you find that you do get off task on a rather regular basis. But take heart, if nothing else the article also reinforces the idea that taking breaks from digital tasks is a good idea.
