FCC Pushes Broadband Plan

You may want to keep an ear out for what happens with the Federal Communications Commission's National Broadband Plan. It hopes to connect 100 million households to affordable, 100 megabits-per-second service in the next 10 years. Such speeds would permit high-definition videoconferencing and medical diagnostics and other futuristic technology applications. It would also be an affirmative move to giving low income and rural communities digital service equity.
