Leaders in Learning Awards

Cable in the Classroom (CIC) announced its 2008 winners and finalists in Cable's Leaders in Learning Awards competition. The program recognizes outstanding educators, administrators, policy makers, and community leaders for innovation, vision, action and transformation in education. Categories for awards include: Cable Partnerships for Learning, Pushing the Envelope with Cable Technology and Learning, Media Literacy Education, General Excellence, and Policy Maker Excellence. You can check for more information about the annual awards (now in its 4th year) and look for information about upcoming award cycles on the Cable in the Classroom site. Deadlines are usually in September.
