Here is an interesting quandary of modern life – a university-based librarian sets up two fictitious Facebook accounts for two students from the 1910s to help teach local history and they become very popular BUT they violate Facebook’s first cardinal rule of existence, “You will not provide any false personal information on Facebook, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.” What do you think Facebook should do?
